Norman's diabolical plan to eradicate the demons gets underway in this volume, despite Emma and Ray racing to the capital to try to stop him. First, Norman and his team blow up the bridges into the Demon Capital, so escaping is going to be tricky. Then, they invade the palace and pit the demon nobles up against each other along with their ally demon, Geelan, We also get all of the backstory on Geelan and how he came to be banished. Meanwhile, Emma and Ray navigate the demon capital trying to get to the castle to stop Norman before he goes too far. The Demon Queen, Legravalima, proves to be a hugely formidable foe, and her strength proves how she has managed to stay on top in a violent demon society.
This volume has so much great backstory content that reveals a great deal about the demon society and shows how we got to this moment with Norman and his friends in the audience of Queen Legravalima. There is also quite the intense battle between all of the demons, so this volume is full of action, death, blood, and lots of violence. This volume didn't disappoint or skimp on what is most likely the climax of this series. There isn't a ton more I can comment on without giving away everything!
