Many library selection policies call for librarians to find professional reviews for the items they put into their collections, but there is an overwhelming lack of reviews for the graphic medium.  On this website, we will strive to provide information to educators on the suitability of available literature, and give guidance for expanding their graphic novel sections.

Order Manga Goes to School: Cultivating Engagement and Inclusion in the K-12 Settings. This book was co-written by Ashley Hawkins, teacher librarian and The Manga Librarian; Emily Ratica, English Teacher and  former comics & manga librarian; yours truly; Julie Stivers, teacher librarian and Manga in the Middle writer; and Sybil "Mouna" Touré, illustrator & public librarian.

We are so proud of the resources we have been able to put into this book, and can't want to be able to share it with all of you!
