The fight with Shishitoren continues with everyone taking on their opponents one at a time. As Sakura takes on Togame, Shishitoren’s second-in-command, we get a little bit of insight into how the childlike Toriyama rose to the top of Shishitoren and the toll it took on Togame for them to get there. Sakura also jabs at Shishitoren for preying upon the weak, and that’s how Togame finally figures out why Furin members were on their turf to begin with. Then, it’s finally time for the firsts to square off in the main event: Toriyama versus Furin’s Umemiya.

Back inside, Marcille, Laios, and Senshi hatch a plan to take on the Red Dragon. Initially, Chilchuck wants nothing to do with it, but he gets sucked into the planning phase and agrees to help. Then, it's time to find out if Falin can be revived, and someone in the party has been harboring a secret that will help, but terrifies the rest.

Frieren, Fern, and Stark have reached the Northern Plateau, and there are many fierce monsters around. Within the plateau is a corporation that has tried to help the flow of goods and protect the small towns from demons, but even their resources are stretched thin. It seems on Frieren’s last journey through the Plateau, she worked up a sizable debt to the Norm Corporation, so they work out a deal putting her to use in their mines. Once Frieren settles the score, they’re off again and they find a village decimated by a powerful demon, but Fern isn’t the only First Class Mage answering their call for help.
Sanji finally agrees to come with Luffy, which is great for many reasons: many volumes ago, Nami made off with the Merry Go, so they’ll have to take Sanji’s boat to track her down. Luffy already sent Usopp, an injured Zolo, and one of the pirate hunters after her, so the second pirate hunter, Sanji, and Luffy are on their tail now. But Nami may be going into a Lion’s Den. She had expressed interest in a great reward on a dangerous pirate, a Captain of the Fish-Men named Arlong. His brute strength makes Don Krieg look weak, and he has a crew of mutant fish-men with special abilities and strengths under his command. Nami’s treachery may run a bit deeper than everyone originally thought as Usopp uncovers her family home in a small village on the same island as the Arlong pirate compound.

Sovieshu comes up with the ultimate plan to have everything he ever wanted, but it involves divorcing the empress, elevating Rashta to be his empress for long enough for their child to be a legitimate heir, then to divorce her and have Navier back as his empress. But rather than let anyone else in on his plans, he sets a few things in motion and is overheard by Navier who doesn’t fully know how to handle the idea of her husband wanting to divorce her. She instead leaves the capital for a few days to check in on a mage student she’s been sponsoring who has reportedly been losing her magic, and while there, she runs in to King Heinrey who has escaped his kingdom for a short getaway. Heinrey yet again begs Navier to become his queen. In the meanwhile, Navier’s brother, Kosair, is banished for what the emperor supposes is conspiring against Rashta.
The procession of Silver Eve is here, and it’s time for Coco and Agott to show off the spells they’ve made and hope that people find them useful. They’ll present their spells while floating on stages above the crowd, while everyone else watches from below and waves tiny flags to show their support for how useful they believe the spell will be. Olly goes first, and his spell is an ingenious trapping of fire into what looks like a crystal, giving a versatile lamp for folks, or a beautiful stone for jewelry for others. Coco goes next, and her contraption doesn’t resonate as well with the audience at first. After a pep talk from Agott and a little intervention, Coco’s spell is a little more successful, but the procession is ultimately interrupted by nefarious doings on the other side of the castle.
In saving a junior high student, a fellow first year and Sakura have provoked a neighboring gang, the Shishitoren, whose general and several members challenge a select group of Bofurin to a one-on-one style tournament to settle the score. The matches include Sakura and Bofurin’s general, Umemiya. At first meeting, Umemiya doesn’t seem like the type of person to be leading the school, and Sakura is not at all impressed by his bubbly nature and proclivity for vegetable gardening. Within the Shishitoren turf is their headquarters and the site of their fights. It's an abandoned theater with plenty of good views of the fights happening on the the stage for everyone to see all of the action.
Our adventuring party continues deeper into the watery depths of Level Four. Marcille recalls a a story from her school days where she learned about building dungeons and befriended an odd but gifted magic user name Falin. Another group of adventurers catches up to the party, and they are aided by a fighter named Namari who used to be part of their group. They partially blame her for Falin’s predicament, but Chilchuck reminds them an adventurer’s ultimate loyalty is to coin, rather than friends. They all have a scary run-in with some tentacles that actually yields some delicious results even though some walk away with swollen body parts. In the end, our adventurers fight through some giant frogs to find themselves at last at the base of the Orc village they’ve been seeking.
In an epic flashback, we learn Sanji’s backstory and his debt to Chef Zeff, who saved his life but lost his leg in the process. Now, Sanji feels he owes a great debt and must save the Baratie Restaurant at all costs. Sanji goes up against the Indestructible Pearl, who has never shed blood in all his fights. After Luffy and Sanji make Pearl feel he is in danger, Pearl ignites the deck of the Baratie in self-defense. Then, Gin takes on Sanji himself and vows to take him down for Don Krieg, while Luffy has some difficulty getting to Krieg without landing in the ocean. Don Krieg then unleashes his mightiest weapon on the Baratie, punishing some of his own men and his enemies at the same time.
