Taiki is entering his first year of high school and has aspirations to join the badminton team and go to Nationals. He gets to the school gym early every day to practice. But someone else also has similar goals; Chinatsu Senpai, a second-year on the girl’s basketball team. Taiki knows she’s way out of his league, but he still manages to strike up some conversation and establish some mutual sports admiration. He’s content to crush on her from afar, but when her parents move overseas for work, she ends up staying with Taiki’s family to finish high school and hopefully take her team to Nationals!
Nasa realizes he is gaining a bit of weight from being happily fed and eating with Tsukasa, but she hasn’t gained an ounce he’s determined to shed the pounds and thinks he can jump back into his high school workout routines easily, but he realizes very quickly, he’s out of shape. Later, Kaname convinced a boy at her school to pose nude for her upcoming art project, but in true Kaname fashion, it’s mostly a ruse. Nasa convinces Tsukasa to go camping to stargaze, and the entire crew invites themselves or gets invited. They start off with an invigorating hike, setting up the glamping site, and Nasa even gets lost! Lucky for him, Tsukasa can always find him at night.
Several of Denji's companions decide that if they kill him, the curse on the hotel will lift and they'll be able to leave. While he's fending off attempts on his life by demons and friends alike, Denji solves the mystery and is able to chainsaw his way through yet another demon. Two of his squadmates feel like quitting after their disgraceful behavior, so Squad Mama Himeno devices a celebration that may help absolve their grief, get Denji's kiss-reward out of the way, and find out what Miss Makima knows about Denji. Himeno gets exceedingly drunk and ends up throwing up in Denji's mouth as she's giving him his kiss! After the night's festivities are over, it's off to Kyoto for Makima and back to work for everyone else, but there are hitmen with actual guns after all of them, and they have lethal aim
Keiji's back with more Kaiju to kill. This time, one of his lady conquests is also on his tail, claiming he broke her heart and ruined her life with his playboy ways. While the two try to destroy each other, new and more ferocious kaiju start popping up over the city, this time with the ability to transform or change their weaknesses so they are not easily exploitable. Keiji and Elizabeth, his old flame, agree to an uneasy truce, which doesn't make the little chick, who Keiji names Chicken Little, very happy. Keiji is still laser focused on finding the kaiju who killed his sister, so Elizabeth has to resort to some trickery to get Keiji to save an entire village being enslaved by a greedy kaiju.
Recently, a demon lord was slain by a human hero. Now, the Elite Demons are hosting a tournament to see who will claim the title of the new Demon Lord. There are some very strong candidates, but none a strong as Helck, a human warrior who claims to hate humans! Lady Vermillion and her sidekick try to put Helck through challenges where he is sure to lose, but Helck proves time and again that he is better than what they think. They can't stand the idea of a human ruling as a Demon Lord, and they don't trust that Helck really hates all humans. Try as they might, Helck can do nearly anything, and he's loved by he audience, so how are they going to get him out of this tournament?

He discovers new things about the chainsaws that protrude from his body when he fights. Afterward, true to her word, the blood demon, Power, helps Denji obtain his ultimate goal - she lets him touch her boobs. But, Denji is completely unsatisfied and thrown off for days. He discovers he may have been happier during the pursuit of his goal than he was when he finally obtains it. But, his next assignment is to take down the Gun Devil, who has killed over a million people across the world in a few short minutes. If Denji succeeds and doesn’t die, his boss, a girl he actually kind of likes, will give him a new reward of Denji’s choosing. That is, if they make it out of a cursed hotel, where they seem to be stuck on the 8th floor.
In the skies above Japan, a passenger plane starts to free-fall. But, somehow, everyone on board makes it to the ground safely! In this uncertain time after major forces in the world have made their wars, super-human Choujin have made their marks as heroes and villains, wreaking havoc or saving everyone. As is the case with the passenger plane, a choujin saved everyone. But when high schoolers Tokio and Azuma are accosted on their way home and forcibly made into choujin, they now have to navigate their new powers and decide for themselves who they will be.
Asa continues to be the only means of defense against the creature lurking off Japan’s coast. The Japanese government fears if the Americans become involved, they might try to drop a nuclear bomb on it, which will cause even more suffering for the people of Japan. Instead, Asa is given a transistor radio and a coded phrase that will let her know when to spring into action. She’s to listen to it between classes, after school, and take turns sleeping and listening with Yasuga. Asa’s friend, Sho, is now training thoroughly for the next Olympics. His father and brothers have him running all day up to the marathon event of the Olympics. They map out a course for him and angrily keep him on pace with the lead runner, an athlete from Ethiopia. Yone and Miyako finally come clean about their dreams: to become a professional singer for Yone, and to become a professional wrestler for Miyako.
Applicants who passed the first part of the Wizard First Class test are now set to take the second part of the exam. This portion requires the applicants to get through a dangerous dungeon. Sense, the instructor, tags along with Frieren and Fern, but the rest of the candidates split up and go solo or create small teams. They soon learn that this was a mistake, that this particular dungeon requires cooperation. Inside, there is a monster who makes nearly perfect clones of the adventurers, and the group must work together to identify each other's weaknesses in order to defeat them. But, the last clone will require all of them, as they find Frieren’s powerful clone guarding the final doorway.
Freya becomes even more entangled in Nacht's dealings. It seems that the queen, the rightful heir to the royal line of Nacht, was deposed when Sigurd took control of the kingdom. Her infant son was snatched from her, and her husband, the ruling King, forced to marry a Sigurdian princess to keep the kingdom firmly under the thumb of the evil king of Sigurd. Freya has uncovered the whole plot, but wonders if the deposed queen has the strength to bring her people back to her side. Freya vows she's not doing any of this in order to force Nacht into a pact with them - she's righting wrongs, and they can come along against Sigurd in their own time.
