Something is Killing the Children volume 3. Erica is in the lead walking down a street. She has her black bandana over her mouth, with her white shirt and black pants. Behind her, carrying a machete, is James, with his red coat and jeans. The rest of the cover is shades of red with silhouettes of buildings behind them.

Erica hones in on the source of the monsters, which is actually a person who willed them into existence. She brings James to where Bian is staying and asks them about the first time they knew about the monster. Meanwhile, the Order of St. George sends another team to Archer’s Peak to contain the spiraling situation. As they try to figure out what to do with all the witnesses at the school gym, Tommy comes up with a story that will potentially keep everyone safe and hopefully stop the bloodshed.

This was a fairly satisfying end to the Archer’s Peak arc, despite the crazy body count, and there were some very intriguing snippets from the Order of St George that give us more insight into their workings. We also get more info on Erica’s Octo toy, but with more answers come more questions as she reveals the horrifying past of how they became acquainted. There is a lot to this world, so we’ll see where the next adventure is for Erica. This series is pretty violent, and there is a lot of blood and killing on the page - several characters are eaten by the monsters in full illustration, so this definitely isn't for the faint of heart. But, Erica is a pretty awesome main character full of twists that will keep readers turning pages to find more about her.
