To begin, our narrator is a king on his deathbed, floating towards the light at the end of the tunnel, which happens to have him being reborn in another body at the end of it. Art is a beautiful baby boy born to two doting parents, in a world that is similar but not quite the one he left behind. As soon as he’s able to crawl, Art sneaks into the study to read books and learn more about his new world, which includes a form of magic similar to his former world. He spends several years of his baby existence honing his mana core in his body so that he can become a powerful magic user as an adult. By age four, Art is able to spar with wooden swords with his father. His parents decide to take him on a several week’s journey with some of his father’s adventurer friends to be tested and trained by more professional tutors. They road is not without its dangers, though, as there are dangerous animals and bandits galore!

Through wrestling with her guilt, we learn more about the background of the Baroness and why she has had to do the things she's done to her friend. Inside Maika's mind, she and Zinn relive some of Maika's memories that have been trapped away, including what happened to her mother. Kippa continues to fight as staunchly as ever, even trying to gain some allies among the witches and Dawn Court nobility, in order to save Miss Maika from what the Dusk Court plans to do. The intrigues of the past, including the efforts of Maika's father to harness the power of the Old Gods, continue to come to light and make everything in the present much more complicated. ![]()

While panhandling in the subway one day, Luz is bumped onto the train tracks and saved in part by her friend Bee, but mostly a stranger named Paco. Paco turns out to be an orphan just like Bee and Luz, so Bee invites him back to their hideout: a trailer in a junkyard. There, he meets Felix, Gracie, and Justin. Paco asks them all if they wish for a better life, and when they say yes, he and a fairy whisk them away to Neverland! Paco has brought them into the middle of a war between the Neverlanders and the pirates from Otherland who want to harvest the magic from the island. ![]()
Belle is once again tricked by Giselle, who she finally discovers is the sister of the Breast, Prince Cyril. This time, she walks in on a private moment between Cyril and his fiancée, (old) Belle. The former Belle is slowly turning into crystal. Her heart was fragmented and used to make servitors for the terrible Madam La Medium, who cursed Cyril and the people who live in the castle. Belle realizes La Medium may also have her mother, but Cyril doesn't want to take her along in any confrontations because she's useless in a fight. (New) Belle also learns more about the castle's magic - one of Cyril's butlers is using his magic to slow time in the castle, and they are traveling between worlds to keep it ticking even slower in order to hopefully save (Old) Belle. (New) Belle also realizes that despite her better judgment, she is falling in love with Cyril.

The villain known as Josef/Cartaphilius brings Chise to his home and prepares her for the deal she’s now entered into: she is going to give Josef her cursed left arm. Josef is in quite the predicament. When he merged with the cursed being, Cartaphilius, he started to slowly decompose over centuries, but he can never fully die. He’s convinced that with Chise’s arm cursed from the dragon, he might finally have some relief from his torture. But first, he exchanges eyes with Chise to make sure his body won’t reject her arm, and in doing so, the two share their past memories and share their tragic backstories.

The party has gotten to the third floor, but there are a lot of undead creatures here, and not many edible ones. When Senshi hears there are golems nearby, he springs to action to incapacitate them by removing their monster core. He then inspects the crops growing along their back that he planted the last time around, and there’s a bumper crop of cabbage, carrots, and more. After the harvest, he tills and plants more things with the help of the party, and replaces their core, so the crops maybe continue to grow for his next time around the third floor. Then, some orcs demand their leftover crops, but they barter as they overheard the orcs talking about the red dragon. Laios jumps into some living pictures and eats plenty of food from the festivals there, but upon leaving the painting, he discovers he’s hungry all over again. Chilchuck gets tricked by a mimick yet again, but it leads to another delicious meal. The party is about to travel to the fourth floor, but first they have to get across a treacherous lake with deceptive kelpie.

Frieren, Fern, and Stark convince a depraved priest to join their adventuring party, and Frieren finally feels like her group is complete. However, Sein the Priest only agrees to go so that he can go looking for his best friend, an adventurer by the name of "Gorilla Warrior" who left the village and went missing ten years ago. Frieren also convinced Fern to test for the certification they need to continue adventuring north since these types of certifications become obsolete for Frieren so comparatively fast with her longer life span. ![]()

Rentt is a mediocre adventurer trying to get ahead in a dungeon, when he accidentally finds a dragon on a level where there should be no dragons. He wakes up much later, but his body is strange, and his voice isn't working. He realizes that he has woken up as a skeleton after the dragon has finished devouring him! Unsure of why he was reborn this way, Rentt puts his (absent) nose to the grindstone yet again in order to level up, but this time as a monster. He hopes he can level far enough to gain back a body and a voice. Along the way, he stumbles across another adventurer from his guild who he hopes can help him re-integrate into society and possibly figure out why he woke up as a monster. ![]()
We open on a castle under siege, and Lady Talli receiving the final words from her father, Lord Borin, before he sends her and her noble knight, Alan, off on into the wilderness on a speedy horse. Cunning archers see the fleeing pair, and one lands an arrow in the horse’s haunches while other soldiers on horseback pursue. Lady Talli and Alan manage to evade capture in the next town over with the help of a bumbling old man and his grandson. The two agree to take Lady Talli to the port in exchange for lots of money. Lelo, the grandson, and Pavel, the old man, have some secrets of their own - Lelo is a highly skilled fighter with unnatural speed, and Pavel used to be a famous adventurer and treasure seeker. The four are helped along the way by true believers who recognize Talli for who she really is: a descendent from the Moon Goddess, and the last Summoner.
