During the test in the forest, a powerful demon named Amaimon attacks the camp, seeking to draw Rin out and use his power. Rin obliges when it's clear that Amaimon is a threat to everyone present, and finally lets his classmates see who he really is. They don’t take it so well. Rin is immediately taken to the Vatican to an Exorcist Court where President Mephisto is on trial for harboring the Son of Satan. He convinces the council to let Rin study to become an exorcist, and they agree. However, Rin only has 6 months to train enough to pass the exam, and he can't use his flame until he passes the exam.
This is probably the biggest narrative shift - that the main cast all knows now that Rin is the Son of Satan. I imagine we’ll have a knock out fight between him and Bon in the next volume because of Bon's history with the Blue Night. Now that Rin has a deadline, this will move the story along and allow for him to actually learn a thing or two instead of just rushing into battle all the time and not being good at exorcism things. We have spent the last three volumes being asked to believe he is great at fighting and really strong, but how much intuitive ability are we supposed to believe?
VIZ's rating is Teen Plus, and so far, the only thing that has merited this rating is Shuri's outfits that barely cover her bits. The action scenes a violence are not overly graphic.
