Award Winners for 2019

8/11/2019

Every year, there are several awards presented throughout the country, mostly at notable comic conventions.  Here is a list of these award-winning titles that may not appear as an award winner on purchasing services, such as Titlewave.  You may see duplicate titles, as I am not going to omit a title if it wins two or more different awards.  In some cases, I have included the nominees when available.  Even being nominated for these prestigious awards is an honor, so all of these books on the nominees list are quality titles that you can consider purchasing for your collection.

EISNER AWARDS - 2019

The Eisner Awards are named after Will Eisner, one of the pioneers of the graphic novel format.  The Will Eisner Comic Industry Awards are like the Academy Awards of Comics.  The nominees are selected by comic retailers, librarians, academic researchers, and other comic experts.  The award is handed out every year at San Diego Comic Con.

Below the nominees is the list of winners in several of the Eisner categories.
