Rebecca and Pilar are trying to make it as Edgerunners in Night City, and they have a job coming up that just might be their big break. But between Rebecca's temper and Pilar's constant screw ups, their prospects aren't looking so great. Rebecca often picks fights with large groups for insults or because they go after helpless women. Pilar thinks he has the skills of a legendary edgerunner when he doesn't. The two take over a job to hunt down an asset and kill him, but when they get there, they give him a trial run as part of their crew and instead become targets of legendary mobsters.

Fans of the Cyberpunk games and especially the hit Netflix Anime series will be delighted with this manga featuring some of their beloved characters. Rebecca and Pilar are both outlandish and boisterous characters, and the manga manages to capture their energy perfectly. There are some beautiful easter eggs hidden throughout for fans of the video game, including references to actual locations (with included map), but also nuggets referencing other science fiction properties. For the uninitiated, this manga is full of tons of hyper-violent, high stakes action with gun fights, car chases, blood and guts, mixed with hilarious moments as Rebecca and Pilar stumble their way through jobs.

This manga is rated Mature for is gratuitous violence, excessive swearing (liberal use of the F-word throughout), and violence against women. There is hints of pedophilia though nothing is shown on the page.
