Cover of The 13th Footprint volume 1. A happy family walks under cherry blossoms with the child on top of his father's shoulders.
This family-centric story starts with Ao being released from the hospital for the third time. His parents worry he will get sick again and also want him to enjoy life. They come home to a new house they have prepped with a scavenger hunt for him to find seven stickers that leads Ao to explore their new home. Ao wants to have freedoms of other well children. A new bicycle gives Ao access to friends and life outside of the hospital, but concerns for Ao's mom as to Ao's safety. Cryptic postcards start up showing at the home foretelling events that will happen tomorrow unless they are stopped. We don’t know who is sending them or who the postcards are for.

Cover of Flip. A girl is holding up a mask that looks like a boy's face. She looks uncomfortable.
A promposal sent via email gets accidentally opened instead of the presentation. Flip Henderson denies Chi-Chi in front of the entire class. Chi-Chi runs out of class to the amphitheater currently under construction. She tries to leave when a sudden downpour starts, and she slips and falls. She wakes up in Flip’s body! As Chi-Chi’s two genius best friends try to reverse the curse, the four of them spend more time together leading to rumors, an education in K-Pop, Black culture, and swimming lessons. Of course, there are rules for what they can and cannot do when in each other’s bodies. Along the way, Chi-Chi and Flip both learn more about themselves and what they truly value.

fool night vols 2-3 by Kasumi yasuda

Kamiya's transfloration into a plant begins sooner than he anticipated and grants him the unique, unsettling ability to "hear" the thoughts of other transformed individuals. This overwhelming influx of voices forces him to confront his own mortality and the limited time he has left with his humanity.  A transformed individual, a spiriflor, begins moving and killing, which is a presumed impossibility. When a surviving victim, possibly the only witness to the killer's identity, is in danger of dying, authorities force the transfloration process. There is no discussion with the family. There is no consent. Kamiya may be the only one capable of finding and stopping this new serial killer.

Volume three delivers the twisted backstory to this world. People are being taxed to breathe, and the taxes are increasing. Many spend 1/3 of their income to breathe. Basic living is harder, and expenses are increasing. "Unwanted" children are paraded in front of the rich to be selected for transflorication to later be turned into furniture.

Cover of Leap. Two girls sit on the floor of a ballet studio with the sun shining through the windows. Ballet shoes are on the ground next to one.
Carina and Ana attend a high stakes dance school in Bucharest, Romania, where if you aren’t good enough, if your body is taking up too much space, if you were hurt too long, if you don’t do better, you will lose all you ever wanted. Carina puts all she is into dance. Ana puts all she is into Carina. Ana's roommate, Sara, is possibly the best dancer the school has ever had, but she's infatuated with her teacher. Each practice or missed practice exposes the flaws of the unrequited relationships. Perhaps the next dance will be the one that gets them to understand who they are, their potential, and their dreams.
