In Menou’s world, people are often summoned from other worlds and bring great power with them. Somewhere in the distant past, this led to a cataclysmic event that wiped out and entire continent. Now, Menou and the Church she serves hunts these otherworlders down and disposes of them. When Menou meets an otherworlder she can’t kill, she is directed to bring her target back to the city-center of the Church. Nothing can be simple, however as they catch a train beset by bandits wielding guns from the Wilds. A warrior princess is also along for the ride and confronts Menou’s assistant, Momo.

To begin, our narrator is a king on his deathbed, floating towards the light at the end of the tunnel, which happens to have him being reborn in another body at the end of it. Art is a beautiful baby boy born to two doting parents, in a world that is similar but not quite the one he left behind. As soon as he’s able to crawl, Art sneaks into the study to read books and learn more about his new world, which includes a form of magic similar to his former world. He spends several years of his baby existence honing his mana core in his body so that he can become a powerful magic user as an adult. By age four, Art is able to spar with wooden swords with his father. His parents decide to take him on a several week’s journey with some of his father’s adventurer friends to be tested and trained by more professional tutors. They road is not without its dangers, though, as there are dangerous animals and bandits galore!

Jinwoo has to wait a few days for the results of his re-ranking, but in the meantime, he needs money and fireproof items in order to get through the last levels of the dungeon and retrieve the materials to make the elixir of life for his mother. He decides to join an excavation team, low-rank hunters who go in after a raiding party has taken out most of the monsters in order to mine the dungeon for valuables. Of course, he’s great at mining because of his brute strength, and some of the miners take a liking to him. The next day, he goes to mine again, but the luggage carrier for the raid team didn’t show up. Jinwoo volunteers to go so he can learn more about the raiding parties and how they clear out a dungeon. He has a bad feeling before stepping into the gate but brushed it aside. He comes to regret this as the party is faced with tons of high-level orcs that nearly kill them until Jinwoo uses his stealthy attacks to save them.

Jinwoo gets “recruited” to help talk to his sister’s friend who is an aspiring hunter. He takes her along on a raid to show her how difficult the hunter life is. The C-Rank gate morphs as the team goes in, and becomes a Red Gate - a gate that transports them to another world. Within the team is an A-Rank hunter, several B-Rank hunters, and a handful of C-Ranks. The A-Rank abandons the lower rank hunters, but Jinwoo helps them and keeps them alive while he works through the bad guys. He tries out his newest skill, which lets him raise shadow soldiers from defeated enemies. Later, he goes back to the dungeon to which he earned a key, and he grinds through several levels before discovering the recipe to make an elixir that might bring his mother out of her sleeping-sickness coma. In order to find all the ingredients, he decides to finally reclassify and stop pretending he's an E-Rank hunter.
Arisu and his friends are slackers who couldn’t care less about high school or even what comes after it. Arisu is especially bored with how his life is playing out, and he often wishes to be swept away into another world. He soon learns to be careful what to wish for, because he and his two friends are mysteriously pulled into a future dystopia. The city is starting to be reclaimed by nature, but what's happening in this place is far from natural. Arisu, his two friends, and a mysterious girl are forced together into a team and must play twisted games in order to stay longer in this world. The failure for playing is instant death, so they're damned if they do, damned if they don't.
Ayumi has a troubled home life - her dad left long ago and her mom neglects her in favor of alcohol. When she receives a letter from her dad about meeting one night, she jumps at the chance to find out why he left. Instead, she finds herself transported to a magical fantasy world with dragons and astral sorcerers known as Saigami. She immediately meets Sean, a noble-born from the Zenosa Clan of dragon-rearers who is also a Saigami. Along with Sean’s friend Reyji, the three travel to Zaosz, the capital and seat of The Saigami Order, hoping to find some answers about how she came into this world. Along the way, Ayumi discovers she has the power of a Flame Saigami, which means she now has to prove herself to The Order in a matter of a few weeks, or risk being destroyed.

Rei is a corporate drone who finds happiness after hours playing her favorite dating sim. As the main character, she’s supposed to choose from between three handsome princes, but the person she’s most interested in is the rival, Miss Claire. One night, while playing, Rei is transported into the game as the main character, Rae Taylor, a commoner at an elite academy, who can now pursue Miss Claire without the pesky game getting in the way! But, as her rival and a noble, Miss Claire thinks lowly of Rae and constantly teases her. Rae loves the attention, which drives Miss Claire even crazier. After some time, Rae becomes employed as Miss Claire's maid. Now, she can be around Miss Claire at school and at home!
Matty has proven to be one of, if not the, strongest student at the Second Academy. The teachers ask him to lead a class on wordless magic casting, and his condition is being able to train with the two sisters, Lurie and Alma, in the dungeon below the school. He teaches them more wordless magic, but also fighting and weapon styles that compliment their crests. The headmaster enters the three into a battle with First Academy, something they haven't won in years, but with Matty's special skills and the sisters' extra training, they trounce the First Academy. But, Matty also discovers one of the Magical Chosen Ones, special extra strong sages, is actually a demon in disguise. He theorizes that the reason magic and knowledge has been derailed in this time period, is from demons messing with human society. Now, he has a few months to get everything ready for a potential demon onslaught.
Aristia, or Tia, grew up in a privileged position. She was mistaken as the girl from a prophecy that promised her as the companion of the crown prince. When a girl from another world lands, the country realizes she is the promised companion. Tia is relegated to imperial consort and is highly mistreated by the emperor, her former would-be husband. When Tia finally stands up for herself, she is sentenced to death, and she begs the gods for a do-over, to be born again to correct her mistakes. She wakes up to find herself in her ten-year-old body, and all her memories intact!

Jinwoo and a couple other survivors of the double dungeon take on a raid at dungeon, and they’re joined by three criminals and their handler. These criminals can take time off their sentence by helping to clear dungeons, but things go south with the handler, and Jinwoo is forced to show some of his overpowered skills in front of the healer and mage from the previous dungeon. Jinwoo is then noticed by a prestigious clan, who have figured out he’s a reawakened being. As Jinwoo’s level finally reaches 40, he is presented with a new quest: job change, where he must survive for an unspecified amount of time and be assessed to see what his classification will be. |
