Within the gates of Japanese Hell is a construction site, and one of the most ornery foremen is Mizuchi. He might be particularly ill-tempered because he died a virgin, but that also may have given him some sort of powers here in the afterlife. Mizuchi is a colorful guy with an eye for expensive sneakers, though just one eye as the other is covered by a magical eye-patch. From this, he can pull his fearsome katana he uses to fight off unwanted spirits and protect his workers and job site. But, be careful not to talk about other enchanted swords around Mizuchi’s katana, or it might get jealous!

Ruve finishes the business with all of the visiting princesses and dismisses all of them. On the last day of the festival, Tia and Allen go to watch a play that encourages Allen to confess his true feelings for Tia. She doesn’t reciprocate as she only sees Allendis as her longest and truest friend. This causes a major rift between the two of them. Meanwhile, the Emperor’s health is deteriorating, so Ruve suggests a stay at the summer palace, which is perpetually cooler than the main imperial palace. While there, the gears of fate speed up and Jieun arrives a year early, leaving Tia caught off guard.
