While the entire nation is gripped by the Olympic marathon, “that thing” appears in the harbor, and its tail damages a vessel. Asa and Mr. Kasuga get the message to take to the skies. Meanwhile, Shota’s family continue to tell him he’s keeping pace with the fastest runners in the marathon, but Shota knows his pace is not keeping up. He doubles back to his house and picks up a bag of temptation that’s has been waiting for him for a few chapters. Shota rides several trains to the beach to contemplate his options and witnesses part of Asa’s heroic deeds, which also means he sees the kaiju she’s fighting against.
The year is 1965, and it is a dangerous time for Jews in the Soviet Union. Nevertheless, Rabbi Rafael Grossman travels to the area to investigate reports of Jewish persecution for himself. Despite being welcomed as a guest by the Soviet government with the caveat that he maintains a strict schedule, the rabbi slips away to embark on a secret journey. Armed but nothing with an address and a partial idea of what he is walking into, he’s unaware that what he is about to encounter will irrevocably alter the way he interacts with humanity. Inspired by true events, this Eisner-nominated graphic novel captures a snippet of Jewish perseverance during an overlooked era when a different type of Holocaust, a spiritual Holocaust, was happening in the USSR.
Colette continues her treatment of Hades, which continues to irritate his skeletal servants. One day, Colette is bombarded by many goddesses seeking treatment, and she discovers that Lord Apollo has gone on vacation and recommended her as his stand-in! Zeus asks her to travel to the Celestial Realm to treat the goddesses there and to alleviate the strain on the Mortal Realm. While there, Hades asks a favor of Colette but also puts her under his protection. Upon her return, she takes up midwifing after two local midwives injure themselves, but she quickly learns that becoming successful with her patient is about building up trust over time.

Will takes a shift at one of his jobs, but several class bullies come in to harass him and his customers. He stands up for his patrons, who have no hope to stand up for themselves, which leads to Will being challenged to enter into a large-scale tournament he had very little hope of winning. The following day, Will, Colette, and a third classmate (through coercion) are teamed up and set off into a maze of magical traps and beasts against teams of their classmates to see who can overcome everything, and possibly catch the eye of the scouts from the Magia Vander. 
Fluffy kitty Mufosand and his cast of adorable friends prepare to go on vacation by providing tips on what to pack to have a good time. They visit an aquarium and talk about the fish one might see. They visit an amusement park and go on lots of fun rides. They also visit hot springs and enjoy a relaxing dip. Mufosand also likes food, so they dress up as the regional dishes from all over Japan and celebrate different cuisines.
