Three witch sisters — Juniper, Lily, and Clover — celebrate the Harvest Fest with many other magical creatures. The next morning, they wake to a frantic villager, Mrs. Fiddelneck, who is distraught over the death of her special crops and the theft of her family heirloom teapot she used to water them. The village depends on her special crops and, so her worry is not without reason. The prime suspect is a kelpie, which leads the three witches on a magical mermaid transformation and an undersea investigation.

Yuru, Dera, and Yuru’s daemons take on a tricky pair of daemons — Long Arm and Long Leg — at Dera’s safe house. Only members of Dera's immediate family are supposedly able to find their way to this house, so they are all a bit befuddled as to who could be setting this daemon pair upon them. When they finally discover the master of the daemons, Dera is completely surprised, but one is more in shock than Hana! Later, Yuru decides he should get into contact with his grandmother, who lives on the island of Okinawa, as a possible lead to finding his parents.

But during the dancing rehearsals, Lord Ireneo, Renato's relative, arrives and is hurt to find out that he's not invited to the ball!

Nanao is starting to settle in at her new home and figure out what her role is as bride-to-be for Lord Yako of the Benitsubaki clan. Yako introduces Nanao to a doctor in the capital who gives her medicine to reduce the effects of her spirit seal so others won’t smell or detect her Ayakashi orangutan markings as she goes about her day. Nanao and Yako later go shopping along the busy streets but are attacked by an Ayakashi. Nanao lends her strength to Yako, necessitating another trip to the hospital. This time, Reito and Akemi of the Byakurenji clan are there too, and they want some answers.
An up-and-coming fighter follows his master, Doppo, to the Tokyo Dome where they are intercepted by a Noble Elder from the Tokugawa family who has a fondness for Doppo. They all proceed down a hidden elevator to a secret sixth floor basement where a prestigious and elicit fighting ring was built centuries ago, and over which Baki has been champion for many months. Baki is about to fight a fierce opponent, the notorious Cord-Cutter who has mastered a deadly karate style with sharp fingers perfect for targeting his opponent’s nerves and precise enough to cut them right out of their bodies.
Somewhere between existing and not existing, a being calls forth an orb and sets it upon the planet Earth. The orb begins to mimic shapes and life until it settles on a dying white wolf in an Arctic wasteland, and the orb takes on the wolf’s shape. A boy recognizes the wolf and calls out to it. The boy is stranded in the arctic, hoping other humans will return to the fishing village. In another part of the world, and young girl named March can’t wait to grow up and become a mother. Her family has just welcomed another baby into the family, but she’s a long way away from being able to raise her own family.

A night of celebration, a wonderful performance of Romeo and Juliet, and a dead star. There are whispers of what happened abound at Wilberton Academy, and accusations are made about the new girl, Abby Kita. No one is taking her death seriously. Like other bad things, this is another item to quickly move on from as to not tarnish the school’s reputation. Abby does not believe Elizabeth committed suicide. The more Abby looks into what really happened to Elizabeth, the more she is certain Elizabeth did not commit suicide and there is something horrific happening at Wilberton.
