Many library selection policies call for librarians to find professional reviews for the items they put into their collections, but there is an overwhelming lack of reviews for the graphic medium.  On this page, I will strive to provide information to educators on the suitability of available literature, and give guidance for expanding their graphic novel sections.

​My name is Sara Smith, and the District Librarian for a rural district in California. Previously, I was a Teacher Librarian at a high school for 9 years, and an English Teacher for 6.​

I read a LOT of manga and comicbooks, so it's time I share some of that knowledge with you.
